After a successful TikTok campaign for el A'adah el Helwa
Banah and I teamed up once again to produce a music video for her next single

The best way to simply describe this experience is unique.
During the pandemic, I resided in Madrid, Banah in Bahrain, and most post-production resources I usually resort to were in Lebanon. Considering all these limitations, we still produced an ambitious and cohesive piece that mixes two mediums -  film and animation.
The Objective was to highlight the face of the brand
Banah
For that reason, we limited the use of extras and screen-time for the supporting cast played by Matty, Banah's love interest who mostly appears animated.
To make up for the lack of extras, resources, and onsite production capabilities during the pandemic, Leila Charafeddine, a young, talented illustrator and animator, filled in the missing gaps of the story that were hard to film.
Despite this being both our first project mixing film and animation, Leila produced illustrations complementary to my original vision. To know more about Leila's work process, click here.
