The English version of this hashtag is a transcreation of "speak what's in your heart" based on a Lebanese saying, reworded to fit the brand tone of voice. We use this hashtag for different campaigns that highlight stories from followers.

There wasn't a specific theme for the very first iteration. Women just submitted videos of themselves speaking of the injustices and experiences they go through as women in the Arab World. Participation, in the beginning, was scarce.
Christie, the visual director of the Bayneh w Baynek, later found the solution to encourage women to submit more content. Her idea was to preserve the women's anonymity by expressing themselves by words written on their bodies. There was a definite increase in submissions when anonymity became an option.
